Even before the Nurin's case, I really find myself hard to let my kids wonder around especially my daughter since she is more active than my son. If we go to shopping mall, me and my husband will try our best to ensure only one of us check on things that we want while the other look on our kids. However, we did have experience where my daughter suddenly leaving us and we scared to hell. Although we scold our daughter but the real blame is on us. Just few seconds of ignorance, my daughter almost missing.

Ever since Nurin's case, I am even aware of the situation. Now, if my husband is not around, I don't dare to go anywhere even to the park near our house. My principle when we are going to the park is I look after my daughter and my husband look after my son or vice versa. I rather let my kids stay at home watch tv rather than going to the public if my husband is not around. If my husband not around the only place i dare to go is to a friend's or family's house. Which means, I leave the house, I enter the car, I leave the car, I enter others house. Else, stay at home be a couch potato or do activities under your roof.

I sincerely hope parents aware of this. Negligence can be avoided if parents are more cautious. Remember parents, predator are out there. Even your good neighbor can be a predator. Always be cautious. The reminder is for me as well.Laila Abas @ Kay Abashttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15138259555490297223noreply@blogger.com
