Nurin Walk Called Off

I received Ambrose's mail pertaining the proposed Nurin Walk today. As the letter seem to be addressing the comments made by the various visitors and includes an invitation to all the commenters to "discuss" further on the subject at his yahoo group, I am reproducing the letter for all to read.

Here it goes :-

Dear all,

I had cancelled my propose walk for murdered child NURIN on 5-1-2008 at 3.00 p.m. The murdered Nurin’s uncle does not want me to precede this walk. Read below which I had replied.

Dear Jasin.

Jasin wrote -- The posting attracted some 45 comments from the visitors to the blog and none of the comments thought that it was a good idea associating the Nurin's tragedy with your "struggles" against the government.Yes, we are very concerned with the slow pace in the progress of the investigations on the tragedy but we are unanimously in agreement that the tragedy should not be highlighted in the manner proposed by your goodself. Thank you for your sympathies and offer of help, but as mentioned earlier we would like to be left out from this proposed action. Best regards, Jasni AJ

(Jasin blog as below)
A Nurin Walk?
In his Open Letter to the Prime Minister said to be sent to all MP’s, media / press and some NGO’s, Ambrose Sabastian of Penang declared that :- ".... Again I wanted to walk carrying placards on 5-1-2008 at 3.00 p.m. from Lorong Kulit Hindu Temple to Gurney Drive. With me four friends will walk together and distribute the leaflets informing why we are walking. Less than five people never need police permit neither it is not an illegal gathering. The walk is for alerting the public about the missing girl Nurin Jazlin Jazmi who was murdered and stuffed in a sport bag and the incompetent police investigation. I was unhappy when one minister stupidly threatens Nurin’s father saying law is a law.

Hmmm, it seems that walks and rallies are the in-thing now in Malaysia. Starting with the Walk for Justice, The Bersih Rally, The Hindraf Rally, The Human Rights Walk and now .... The Nurin Walk!

Ambrose reply--
Jasni, without this kind of walk the country was sleeping last 50 years. To make the sleepy log heads to feel the pinch there should be more similar walks had to be organised. Maybe other than losing your loved one girl Nurin, you and other FEW stupid commenters below never feel the pinch of pain, sorrow, loss and got dictated. Are you the one of the government aided people? So you are totally blind and can't see the other sides of characters. The government had made the Malay mentallities like a roving boat. They never allowed them to think on their own. For example, Nurin is your niece and one of the victim's
close family member. You can't make your own decision to reply me. You had waited for 45 commenters to decide your decision. Does the 45 commenters are going to find the killers? That is MALAY in good in talking like they are very professional PhD holders but nil. Sorry I am not referring to other Malays. I am talking only the 45 Malay commenters in your Nurin's blog.

Jasni wrote-- While I wouldn't want to comment much on his rationalization of the proposed walk, I do feel however (and judging from within the context of the Open Letter) that this latest plan is no more than another smear campaign on the Police as well as the government of Malaysia.

Ambrose reply--
I know very well that you are very patrotic to the government but not the country. We are the people more patrotic to our country and not the elected government. In other words, you are trully supporting the corruption people without getting presucuted. Even it declined the moral value in the name of Islam? So which is the truth of this government -- Islam Hadhari or Verses from holy book Quran? If you can differenciate the the truth, then you are open minded to know the elected government better.

About the Police, it should be operated trully under di raja Malaysia and not UMNO or Barisan Nasional Malaysia. If it trully served under our beloved King, we public can see one of top class police in the world. The Politicians were using the police as their slave. The Police department is not functioning indepentantly in Malaysia.

Jasni wrote-- As this Open Letter made reference to the Nurin case, perhaps the authorities can quickly do something on at least the Autopsy pictures' case if not the abduction cum murder case itself. Otherwise, the Nurin case will always pop up over and over again even for events that has got not much relevance to it as clearly seen in this Open Letter which was circulated world wide.

Ambrose reply--
Once you started to highlight through blog for public view means that you already politicised your niece murder. So you or any other can't say that I am politicing to smear your helpful government and the police. Since it was so much advertised in media and press, every concerned citizen having right for highlighting this murder case. All other murder cases were never sought the help of FBI. Why are you afraid? Don't you like to solve this case? Is it like the westerners operate blogs hoping to get public donation and sympaty?

We came up with the walk intend to help your family to nap the killer. To solve this we never ask any money from you. We never even bothered if there is a reward. We came in sincerely, but you had so much trust on authority. Now we are not interested even anyone offer us one million to solve the Nurin case. Sure we will other Indian victims. Don't call us racist.

We laughed loudly, when you are hoping the authorities can solve Nurin case. They were waiting for the public information. Do you think public are stupid to volunteer themselves to give information? What is the difficulty if one provide info to Malaysian Police?

Just to help have to go to police station several times. They can't come to you and take the statements. Police are taking salary from tax payers money, still they have to go to Police station for providing information. That is one part. The identity of the informer is not confidential and the identity can be bought easily with money from the police.

Sometimes the Police received the correct info from public but the investigations gone cold because the criminals will fill their pockets with hefty sum. Later the informer will die in hit and run accident.

About NURIN case, can the 45 commenters knew the characters of the abducter and the murderer? Is he a sole actor or grouped? Does he connected local or international organised crime syndicate? Is he a mental disorder person or professional child pornographic syndicate?

Do you think the Malaysian police are so stupid? When someone belittling them like me, why don't they challenge me and solve the NURIN murder case?

Note: If any one of the commenters wanted to counter me, they can come daringly to sangkancil@googlegroups.com. I will dare to meet them there.

Best regards,
Ambrose.

Assalamualaikum, salam sejahtera..

Poor deluded Mr. Ambrose.

Judging from the content of what he wrote to you, Mr. Jasin, it's already obvious that he's desperately trying to use Nurin for whatever his selfish cause he's running.

By calling our 45 comments stupid, already he revealed his true colours and intentions.

Fact for a fact. His emails don't even sound like they came from an educated person, much less from someone who cares. Any unselfish, educated and rational person who's interested in making things better would never respond in this manner.

I'm not interested in wasting my time emailing him. I can almost imagine the manner of his responses. We can do this the right way. The responsible way. So what if it takes time? Patience will achieve more than force. Let not his selfish cause smear indignity on the memory of Nurin or any other child-victims like her.

Truly, I am disgusted.

"Maybe other than losing your loved one girl Nurin, you and other FEW stupid commenters below never feel the pinch of pain, sorrow, loss and got dictated."

He has no right to judge us this way. He doesn't know any of us or any of the pains we've experienced in our lives or the sorrows we've wept over.

"The government had made the Malay mentallities like a roving boat. They never allowed them to think on their own."

In this case, we've thought it over a lot. En. Jasni, I know that you don't actually need our opinion. Even so, even if you did agree with the walk proposal, you'd have said so. Mr. Ambrose should have respected your and your family's wishes instead of replying in such a rude manner.

"That is MALAY in good in talking like they are very professional PhD holders but nil. Sorry I am not referring to other Malays. I am talking only the 45 Malay commenters in your Nurin's blog."

Mmm... if Mr. Ambrose like, I could fax over my qualifications.

"Once you started to highlight through blog for public view means that you already politicised your niece murder. So you or any other can't say that I am politicing to smear your helpful government and the police."

Objection. It's only his mere conjecture. Nurin's blog is far from political. It's advocacy. There's a difference.

"We came up with the walk intend to help your family to nap the killer. To solve this we never ask any money from you. We never even bothered if there is a reward."

He misspelled "nab". Anyway, even if that is his intentions, he still has to respect your and your family's wishes. Unfortunately, the following paragraph already revealed his true intentions:

"We laughed loudly, when you are hoping the authorities can solve Nurin case. They were waiting for the public information. Do you think public are stupid to volunteer themselves to give information? What is the difficulty if one provide info to Malaysian Police?"

By laughing at you and your family, it's already clear where he stands in this matter. Pretty insensitive, don't you think? Besides, he has no justifications.

"Sometimes the Police received the correct info from public but the investigations gone cold because the criminals will fill their pockets with hefty sum. Later the informer will die in hit and run accident."

What the??! Are we talking about political assasination or Nurin's cause? Examine how he strays.

"About NURIN case, can the 45 commenters knew the characters of the abducter and the murderer? Is he a sole actor or grouped? Does he connected local or international organised crime syndicate? Is he a mental disorder person or professional child pornographic syndicate?"

Questions to Mr. Ambrose. Do *you* know the character of the abductor/murderer? Do *you* understand the psychology behind his behaviour? Can *you* form a profile of the killer? Can *you* form a diagnosis and prognosis of his actions? Can *you* identify his killing patterns?

"Do you think the Malaysian police are so stupid? When someone belittling them like me, why don't they challenge me and solve the NURIN murder case?"

As you are belittling us? Mr. Ambrose, even the FBI, Scotland Yard, Surete et al have to go through pain-staking investigative methods to solve a murder. I hope you're not confusing reality with the hourly episodes of CSI or Law & Order or perhaps (dare I say it?) Gerak Khas.

Thanks but no thanks.

Mr Ambrose you are obviously a victim of this bad country for your obvious lack of proper education and less than decent upbringing. This country that you have so blatantly condemned in your open letter is certainly at fault for your inability to articulate your thoughts without insulting everything and everybody. I would propose to this bad government that needs to conquer the cosmos that they send you on the next trip to outerspace. This planet is obviously too small and insignificant for a great man such as you. Let us share your greatness with the deprived citizens of the galaxy where you can show them how to lead the cosmos. Nurin jazlin Jazimin and her uncle Jasni Abdul Jalil are small potatoes for your greatness. You have it in you to rule the universe, so why don't you? Spare us the crap please!

I am trying to be very nice in my sentences towards this Amrose. Kalau nak ikutkan tangan hmmm dah lama dah......

Saya dah lama jadi pembaca 'senyap'. But Ambrose email triggered me to go out of this silent. First and foremost, I think Encik Jasni dah replied politely to him on his stand regarding the walk. Why on earth did he got angry over this? I think Encik Jasni has every right to decline the proposal. After reading Ambrose's replied I can say he has other agenda in his mind apart from helping to find Nurin's killer. It's so bloody obvious! Thank god u didn't approved the walk Encik Jasni. These are people who we can't trust at all. Betul kata Tehsin, takde pon HINDU2 ni sumer ckp pasal Presheena's case and they called themselves 'Love the country but not the government?' and they dare to call us stupid Malay? From Nurin to race. Way off from the objective. KEJI!

Why dont this guy solve this Nurin case for us? Habis cerita.

It is ok En Jasni. Your reply to his letter was civilised and he should respect our decisions. He may have his own argument and as an individual, he is entitled to it.

I don't fancy walks or gatherings too much. When I was younger, I thought it was a good way to express concerns. Hey, it worked in TV!
Humm... maybe someone should not have too much of television.

Anyway, not that we are happy about the progress with this case. We have to remember, the one who can help us in this is The One. Maybe we should hold regular solat hajat berjemaah so that the case do not just die down.

As far as the police force is concern (tho I can't say I am happy either), I know they did everything they could AFTER the discovery of the body. I heard that they even investigated every motor cycle within a big radius of from the place. Interviewed everyone and all.
My worry is that they have stopped prioritising this case. True, the policemen are also fathers. But they still have to work under orders.

By the way, how is NurinAlert? Have I missed anything?

"Once you started to highlight through blog for public view means that you already politicised your niece murder."

I think Mr. Ambrose doesn't understand the word 'politicise'.
By that logic, if I blog about my disastrous date last night, does that mean I am politicising that date?

Duh!

I don't oppose the idea behind rallies and demostration that has been going on lately. This country was built on street protests and the like. So, everyone should have the right to rally peacefully for whatever cause they are fighting for.

But such methods are not for something such as the unsolved murder of the late Nurin Jazlin. The family is right to refuse any association with the proposed walk which is obviously an attempt to politicise the murder for someone's own agenda.
