KUALA LUMPUR, THURS:
Police are bringing the hunt for Nurin Jazlin Jazimin’s killer to a higher plane by enlisting the services of the United States’ Federal Bureau Of Investigation (FBI) to enhance the quality of closed-circuit television camera (CCTV) recordings related to the case.
Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Musa Hassan said the FBI would assist in identifying blurred images from the CCTVs.
“Two FBI agents are going to help us with the investigation, especially in terms of the technical aspects of the probe.
“One of them is already at the US embassy here while another is expected to arrive in Malaysia soon,” Musa told reporters after presenting Hari Raya goodies to police personnel at the Bukit Aman federal police headquarters here today.
He said the images derived from the recordings had been given to the FBI agent who was already here.
