Suspek wanita ditahan bantu kes bunuh Nurin - Woman, Believed To Be Foreigner, Fifth Suspect Held Over Nurin's Murder

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 29 (Bernama) -- A 23-year-old woman, believed to be a foreign national, is the latest suspect to be arrested to help police in the investigation into the murder of eight-year-old Nurin Jazlin Jazimin.

The woman, who is the fifth suspect to be detained, was picked up at midnight last night at a Ramadan Bazaar in Nilai, Negeri Sembilan, where she worked as a sales assistant at a stall selling clothes.

She is said to have been responsible for feeding Nurin Jazlin during the period the girl was apparently held captive between the time she disappeared on Aug 20 near her home in Wangsa Maju here and her body was found stuffed in a sports bag in Petaling Jaya on Sept 17.

Bukit Aman CID Director Datuk Christopher Wan Soo Kee confirmed the arrest of the woman.

She was detained by policemen from the Serious Crimes Division of the Kuala Lumpur Police headquarters and Petaling Jaya District Police and taken immediately to Bukit Aman for questioning. The police brought her to the Petaling Jaya Sessions Court at noon today and obtained an order from Judge Maimunah Aid to remand her for seven days.

The woman, who was clad in a yellow blouse with batik design and brown long pants, collapsed at the doorway of the court apparently upon seeing the many reporters and photographers as she was being led into the court by two policewomen. The policewomen immediately lifted her up and carried her into the court.

Judge Maimunah issued the remand order at 12.30 pm after an application was made by investigating officer ASP Loh Pei Pei.

On Thursday night, police arrested four men and a woman, aged between 27 and 33 years, in three raids in Section 7, Shah Alam. They released the woman but obtained a seven-day remand order on the men.

Nurin Jazlin was reported missing after she had gone alone to a night market near her home in Section 1, Wangsa Maju, here on Aug 20. On Sept 17, her nude body was found stuffed into a sports bag that was left in front of a shoplot in Petaling Jaya. She had been sexually savaged, with a brinjal and cucumber inserted into her private parts.

Surely someone who has information about this case is telling the police of the people involve and related information.

Out of all suspects detained so far, hopefully the real culprit is/are within them.

En.Jasni, I would like to suggest to you if you could work-out to form a sort of independent, registered organization to create awarness to the public, monitor this and future cases in every aspect and organizing related activity.

I would be the next person to volunteer in this organization.

“GOOD GIRL NURIN GOES TO HEAVEN…”
“LAKNATULLAH BEAST GOES TO HELL…”

my heartiest condolences to nurin's family. it's a shame some people easily blamed it on her parents. it could have been any other child as their victim that fateful night. yours, mine, our friends' or family.

typical of malaysians way of handling a situation; not by getting to the roots of the problem but to pick someone to blame.

al-fatihah to you my beloved child. Semoga Allah mencucuri rahmat ke atas mu.

Amin.

Im not wrong when I first said that those who were responsible will be watching and reading this blog.I was not wrong when I though that the person who is responsible planned this attacked and since more than one person is involved they planed this. The Motif of the whole thing ……. They are not mentally ill nor insane they are cruel and sadistic animals who are computer literate that prey on young girls on random to make sick and sadistic animal like child pornography that they will sell with a lot of money to the worst scum of the earth ,sick pedophiles animals around the world. However ALLAH is great and most just and justice will be served. Inshallah they will get what they deserve .ALLAHUAKBAR.!!!!

Nik Ahmad Farez suggested for the forming of a sort of independent, registered organization to create awareness to the public, thanks for the suggestion but I'm not sure whether both Jazimin and me are ready for this.

For the time being both Jazimin and myself have been invited to participate in programmes related to child abuse campaign etc. Perhaps after a while getting to know the respective people, we could contribute in our small way to these existing NGOs of which I know are already well managed and running.

Let's take things step by step. What I can foresee now is that we'll be busy following the trials of the perpetrators, assuming that all the suspects remanded so far are the real culprits.

Amin.
